Gooder than grits, y’all

From the moment I met Chelsey, I knew she was going to be a perfect fit for our wedding. I interviewed quite a few photographers, but I knew we had found the perfect photographer for our big day. She was incredibly professional while maintaining a calm and laid-back air that made everyone feel at ease. She was easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and was always clear and prompt with her responses.

She spent the entire day with us, from the bridesmaids luncheon, to getting ready, and then on to the ceremony and reception. She and her assistant fit right in with our family and friends; how fun that your photographer is also such an amazing person too! As a result, they were able to catch funny, silly, candid, and sweet moments without forcing them. We were all just able to relax and enjoy the day.

Lastly, I could not be happier with the end product. Chelsey's work is beautiful, unique, and truly captures the moments and essence of our wedding. We have the photos displayed throughout our house and every time I look at them I can't help but smile. I highly recommend Chelsey Somohano to anyone who wants to feel at ease, have fun, and have a photographer capture beautiful memories of your big day. Who wouldn't want that?

Chelsey was an absolute dream to work with. We really wanted to find someone to capture the emotions and special moments of our wedding day, and not just the traditional staged photos. We knew the day would fly by and we wanted to be able to relive the moments through our photographs. I am somewhat of a control freak and I love taking pictures, so I knew giving this up to someone else was going to be hard for me.

I felt at ease from the moment I met Chelsey. She is so pleasant, kind, and passionate about what she does. The photos turned out better than we could've imagined and we will be sharing them for years to come. I could not have asked to find anyone a better fit to work with than Chelsey.

My friends and family continue to not only complement how beautiful the photos turned out, but on how wonderful Chelsey was to be around. We were truly blessed to find her and have her be such an integral part to our day.

When I began looking for a wedding photographer, I had a couple of things in mind. First, I wanted great photos with a good number of candid shots, rather than just the posed and staged ones you sometimes see come out of weddings. I also wanted a valuable product.

Chelsey delivered. I love my photos, and I was thrilled at the quality of the final product. I got a ton of candid photos that I will cherish for many years. When I look through my wedding photos, they tell a story. The photos cannot be undervalued because they are the one thing from your wedding that you will keep forever.

She was also incredibly flexible. We had already had an engagement photo session done, so we asked if we could have an additional hour of wedding photography in lieu of the session. She happily made the exception. The photos perfectly captured the memories from our wedding, from the getting ready through the end of the reception.
